Rick Murphy's Golf Practice/Learning Center will be featuring an exciting new custom-shaft-fitting program starting in 2011. We will host Bob Leaver's custom shaft fitting and building program on a limited basis. Bob is a 16-year PGA Tour Member. He will be offering years of experience in shaft technology as explained below:

Mass production produces a wide range of shaft flexes through a set of clubs. This is why you will have a few favorite clubs in a set.
You can also experience two different clubs that go the same distance. Our company builds one club at a time maintaining the proper flex through the set to assure the player that he is fully loading and unloading the shaft.

Most golfers are using shafts too weak or too stiff. This produces poor distance control and wide dispersions on miss-hit shots.

Each individual player has a swing speed comfort zone. Shafts fit properly to your swing speed load fully and unload fully to produce better distance control and much less dispersion on miss-hit shots. Properly-built shafts will enable you to play some of the best golf of your life.

As a former Tour player, I've found that every Tour member has taken the time to be fit to the proper shaft flex. The custom-built shafts in their sets are far superior to mass-produced shafts.
