Competitive Performance Group Classes (Ages 12 – 17)

Designed for the current or new competitive junior golfer. We work to help our students transition into regular competition to be both comfortable and successful. The objective is to prepare for on course performance and build confidence through skill acquisition, simulated competition and technique improvement in all areas.

  • Available at both Rick Murphy Golf Academy locations
  • Access to our state of the art TECHNOLOGY including V1 Sports Video Analysis, FlightScope Launch Monitor, 3D Motion Capture system and BodiTrak pressure mat
  • Access to the online group training space powered by Edufii. (Drills and notes from your coach on any mobile device)

9/19 –  Wedge play  – 50 – 125 yards : Maximizing spin, trajectory and learning effective practice routines

9/26 – Full Swing – 3D Motion Training: Using Biofeedback to train dynamic movements (6 participant max)

10/3 – The Scoring Zone – Bunker and specialty shots: Gain confidence with golfs more challenging shots

10/10 – The Scoring Zone –  Pitching and Chipping: Technique/skill development.

10/17 – Full Swing – FlightScope Skills Combine: Managing distance and direction

10/24 – Practice –  Random vs Block practice routines: Transferring your skills to the golf course
